30 Weeks

30 weeks
Monday
January 12th, 2015

How far along? 30 weeks 4 days.

Total weight gain: 27 pounds.

Maternity clothes? It’s getting harder and harder to find something to wear. I haven’t bought any new maternity clothes yet, there’s nowhere to buy them here and I’m scared to buy them online without trying them on. Today I wore a maxi skirt purely for the comfort of it! I literally have about one pair of pants I can comfortably wear, one pair of leggings and a few maxi skirts…like I said it’s getting slim pickings around here.

Stretch marks? I think I might have a couple new ones, but I really didn’t notice how many I had before so it’s hard to tell. I guess it’s never really bothered me enough. Luckily I’m not one to get a stomach full of stretch marks, or else I’m sure it would bother me.

Sleep: Ugh sleep, its finally getting harder for me. Thankfully I’m still so exhausted that I can sleep pretty decently but it’s harder and harder to get comfortable and especially hard to flip sides when I get uncomfortable. My back aches every single night.

Best moment this week? Yesterday we all took a nap, literally all of us!! That never happens!! Then after we woke up Brody wanted everyone to watch the movie Jamangi while eating apple slices with caramel and drinking water, it was a pretty relaxing and good day J

Miss anything? Energy as always and I’m really starting to miss not feeling fat. I know I’m not fat, that I’m pregnant but there comes a point in pregnancy where you just start to feel chubby.

Movement: He seems to get the hiccups a lot, at least a couple times a day!! He still isn’t my most active baby but he definitely does move around at certain times of the day.

Food cravings: Not much, Saturday I really wanted a chocolate milkshake, but other than that no cravings going on here.

Food aversions: Nothing.

Boy or girl:Boy J

Labor signs: No
Symptoms: I would say my symptoms are pretty much the same as my last couple updates. Fatigue, stuffy nose, horrific back aches in the morning and insanely unstable hormones. The only thing new is my heart burn is basically here for good and I’m pretty sure I have something like acid reflex..whatever it is it’s not fun!

Belly Button in or out? Still working its way out.

Wedding ring on or off? Off.

Looking forward to: Kinsley and I’s trip to see my parents!! We are going to go to Portland and Seattle…I cannot even begin to express how excited I am about this!!!

Fun facts: Only 66 more days until baby boy is here! YAY! I would have to say that I’m not totally done with this pregnancy but I wouldn’t mind the time going by fast either. I think mainly because I’m just feeling frumpy. I hate to admit it because I don’t want to be one of those downers but I have been hitting a low as far as self-esteem goes. The doctor recommended not exercising because of all the bleeding I was experiencing just to be safe and that has not helped with my weight gain. It is frustrating though because I feel like I don’t eat very much at all. I have next to no cravings and rarely ever pig out on anything fattening. Yesterday I got my chocolate milkshake I had been wanting and it was maybe the second one of the whole pregnancy. I am by no means humongous but the fact that I’ve already gained 27 pounds freaks me out, not going to lie!! I just don’t feel great about myself, I’m ready to not be preggers anymore and get exercises going again. I seriously can’t wait to lose this and whatever other weight I gain.
I really haven’t had much motivation to take a picture so this week is unfortunately picture free; I wanted to do an update though because it’s been too long! I am going to try really hard to start doing these posts weekly again.

More cousin fun

More Cousin Fun
Thursday and Friday
January 1st and 2nd, 2015

Thursday

Bro and Kins have seriously been in heaven ever since the cousins got here!! There hasn't been a moment of dullness! They don't have any cousin's yet on my side of the family so I was glad when Bro instantly had cousin's on Ian's side. These girls have been so much fun, I wish we could see them more often.

Thursday night they all played hide and seek and had a blast!! Here's Lizzy finding Bro and Kinsley in my closet.

Friday

I can't get over how good these girl's are with Kins, they never once acted like they were too old for her or that she was too little and a bother to play with. They ALWAYS made sure to include her in the fun. Kinsley is lucky to have them as cousins :)

They loved spinning her around, I would say she liked it a lot too.

Then they started playing some game with all their feet in a circle, I'm not sure what it was but they had fun with it.

They decided to play some more hide and seek, It was Kinsley and Lizzy's turn to count. How cute are they!?

I couldn't help but take some pictures of these cuties.

Then they started getting goofy.

I know there's a ton of pictures but I just couldn't choose between them, They were having so much fun together!

The things these guys came up with cracked me up! This is a tub that hooked onto one of Brody's old tents...I have no idea how all three of them fit in it.

Just relaxing at the end of a fun filled day.

I can't express how grateful I am that Brody and Kinsley have such fun cousins, what better friends to have growing up then lots of fun cousins!? What a fun week for all of them.

Let it snow

Let It Snow
Thursday
January 1st, 2015

A while ago we bought the kids a bunch of snow stuff, like their boots gloves and hats in hopes that they would get to use them. I think I was almost as excited as the kids to wake up and see snow this morning! The first thing they did after waking up was get ready and head outside.

I'm pretty sure Bro would have liked to throw that snow ball at me haha.

Lizzy and Kinsley absolutely loved being together, Lizzy is sooo good with her. I think Kins has a new bestfriend!

New Years Eve

New Years Eve
Wednesday
December 31st, 2014

We had a great new years eve, it was especially fun with all the cousins here! The kids started it off with playing outside, even though it was freezing cold.
Kinsley's been loving having some girls around for a change, and the girls have been loving her!

Boaz got a new riding jeep for Christmas, the kids were in heaven!

Nana and Grandpa gave Kins and Bro an awesome RV tent for Christmas, I swear the kids lived in it for at least half the time. Thank goodness for awesome Christmas presents to keep them busy!

We had a few people over for a small New Years Eve party to play some games and pig out on some snacks. While we were playing our games the kids had fun playing some card games of their own, Bro and Boaz especially love playing old maid. I cant believe I have a child old enough to play old maid without any help...!

This little girl is crazy, she has a mouth full and covered with Doritos and hot Cheetos...yes hot Cheetos. What 2 year old likes hot Cheetos!?

We let Brody and Kelli play one of the adult games too, they thought that was pretty cool! It was funny, cute and pretty dang impressive to see them strategize together.

I found this awesome idea on pinterest for the kids drinks. You fill a cup with cotton candy and slowly pour 7up over it, it was suppost to crystaliz the cotton candy into lots of little balls. We had a heck of a time finding the cotton candy, I was so excited for these awesome drinks! We got them all ready and as soon as I poured the 7up over it the cotton candy immediately dissolved...huge bummer, some tasted kind of weird too. Brody ended up liking his so I guess that's all that matters!

I can't believe 2014 has already come to an end, how on earth did that happen so quickly!? Lots of things happened for us this year, we spent our first full year here on the Rez, also making this the place we have lived together as a family the longest, we found out another little bundle of joy will be added to our family, Ian has worked one full year with two basically full time jobs and we SURVIVED...that's huge! Brody started Kindergarten and turned 6, Kinsley finally started talking more and turned 2...how on earth do we have kids this old already!? We were totally spoiled and got to take two awesome trips this summer, one to Disneyland and one to Hawaii and lots lots more. 2014 was good to us, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited for 2015...we can't wait to met our new little man cub and whatever else the year has in store for us :)

The cousins are here!

The Cousins Are Here!!
Tuesday
December 30th, 2014

As a child one of the best things is spending time with cousins! Brody is lucky to have some awesome one's one Ian's side, tonight Kelly Gabby and Lizzy came to stay with us!

I am so glad we have this nice big sectional so all the kids could have a sleep over out in the front room, even Kins got to be apart of it. Brody was pretty dang excited, as you can tell :)

28 weeks

28 weeks
Sunday
December 28th, 2014

How far along? 28 weeks 3 day.

Total weight gain: 22 pounds.

Maternity clothes? I’m still able to get away with wearing my normal pants and most of my normal shirts with a few maternity, but I will need to get more maternity shirts before too long, mine are getting a little short. I will definitely be wearing more maternity clothes this time then my other pregnancies.

Stretch marks? I think I’m getting a couple new ones but I can’t tell for sure.

Sleep: Sleep has still been pretty good, thank goodness. Usually I am so tired that as soon as I lay down I am out.

Best moment this week? Christmas!! I couldn’t have asked for a better day with my sweet little family.

Miss anything? Energy as always, I have been lacking it majorly this whole pregnancy. I am also to the point know where I miss just being comfortable, comfortable in clothes and comfortable just walking around.

Movement: He still doesn’t move a ton, but when he does move boy does he move! He has a few different periods during the day where he is most active, mostly morning and late at night. I can tell that he is getting bigger because it is getting increasingly uncomfortable when he moves around. Even though I have been pregnant twice before I can’t imagine how he can possibly get bigger and still be able to move without it totally hurting me!

Food cravings: Still nothing, so disappointing.

Food aversions: Nothing. The whole food department is pretty boring around here.

Boy or girl:Boy J

Labor signs: No
Symptoms: I would say my symptoms are pretty much the same as my last update. Fatigue, stuffy nose, horrific back aches in the morning, insanely unstable hormones, and the beginning signs of heartburn.

Belly Button in or out? More out then in, but not completely out yet.

Wedding ring on or off? Off.

Looking forward to: Enjoying the rest of our Christmas break together.

Fun facts: Well I am getting my belly measured now at my doctors appointments, and the second he puts that little machine on my stomach to find the heartbeat we hear it. It’s kind of fun to know that I’m getting further along. I don’t know if it’s just because it’s late and I can’t think as well but I really can’t come up with any other fun facts. Oh I did get my hair cut, quite a few inches. I was a little freaked out at first but now it feels so fresh and a lot healthier!

Christmas Best

Christmas Best
Thursday
December 25th, 2014

Christmas evening we had a baptism to go to, so I got Kinsley all dolled up in a new dress from Nana and we headed out. It was snowing and so beautiful I just had to take some pictures of this little princess. I would have loved Bro to be in them too but he was still in his pajamas (crazy, I know!) and busy playing with Boaz.

What a wonderful white Christmas.

The picture above is one of her natural smiles, the picture below is the smile I get every time I ask her to smile...little cheeser.

Merry Christmas to everyone, from my little Kinsley Mae :)
