Walking

Walking

Miss Kins has been experimenting with walking for around a few weeks now. First it started with 2 steps, then she got up to 6 then 10; She tends to take her sweet time with new things :) Tonight was the first time we noticed her using walking and her primary way of getting around. Since Ian got home around 4 she didn't crawl much at all. I think it's safe to say we have a walker on our hands!! This Mama has mixed feelings about this, it is so fun to see her doing something new and loving every minute of it...but its also sad to see her grow up. Like all moms say, where did my little baby go?! I do have to say that it is so strange seeing her walk around, this little tiny person, she thinks she's so big now it's pretty hilarious.

It's super cute to watch because she's still so wobbly and unstable, her stomach tends to poke out and it's like she's trying to keep up with it haha. She is really good at catching herself from falling and usually gets right back up when she does. She remind us of Tommy from the Rugrats the way he just wobbles around, so cute!

She's also become a pro at bending over and picking things up while walking. So proud of our little girl. Now to conquer talking!!

New Favorite Seat

Kinsley went through a tiny time period where she liked this jumper, but overall never cared for it. I finally decided to take it down but haven't got around to putting it away. Well apparently she loves it this way! She brings a book over to it, puts one leg in and hangs out...silly girl!

Leap Frog learning

Bro and Kins love watching the Leap Frog letter factory together, and I love that they learn from it too!! Their age different might be a lot, but these two are best friends!
I love this picture of Kinsley's mouth full of pretzels.

All Bro has to do is hold his hand out and sweet kins takes care of her brother :)

Seriously love these two!

Bro Bro loves to help me in the kitchen, so we decided to make some cookies for FHE tonight. We searched online for idea's and decided on snickerdoodle's. I just love having little helpers!

Kinsley: "Oh don't mind me, I'm just going to nibble of this butter you left out to soften."

Ready to start!

He isn't a fan of mixing things, but gave it a try this time!

Kins and Dad watching the cookie making fun.

Adding LOTS of sugar, not wonder they are so good :/

The funny thing about Bro is he LOVES helping me bake, but hardly ever eats the finished product. He is not a cookie kind of guy. The only cookies he will devour are my chocolate crackle ones.

I sure love moments like this with my little man cub :) Fun night in the kitchen that was finished off with a game of battle ship, which Brody and I won! Monday nights are our one and only guaranteed night together as a family, we love taking advantage of our time together.

Super Bowl

Super Bowl!!
Sunday
February 2nd, 2014

I have never really been a big football fan, but I have to admit it was fun to have our  Seattle Sea Hawks play! Here's Bro all ready to represent!

Showing off his black eye he got Friday night. We were at our friends for game night (there is literally nothing else to do around here so we always play games), all the kids were running around being crazy and him and his good friends Lilly bumped heads pretty hard. First black eye for this little guy.

I don't have a jersey to Kins so I did the best I could with getting the Sea Hawks colors on her. I don't think she was too happy about it?

We headed over to our friends house for the big game. We pigged out on yummy snacks, got lots of girl talk in, had kids running around having a blast, and enjoyed watching the game on a BIG screen tv with great friends...fun night!
