Halloween

Halloween
Friday
October 31st, 2014

Over the years Halloween has become more and more of one of my favorite Holidays, especially decorating for it. This year Brody was a vampire and Kinsley was a mouse. I wanted this same mouse costume for Kinsley last year but they were out of her size, so I was super excited to find it this year at TJ Maxx! She was the cutest mouse ever and Brody made for one handsome vampire!! He was especially excited to wear his awesome Halloween make up.

We started at the hospital housing this year, it is said that is the best place to go. This year must have been an off year or something because for every 5 houses we were lucky if 1 was passing out candy. It was still fun I just wish we could have had a little better luck.

We of course went around with cousins Boaz and Adara.

There were a few houses that were decorated pretty awesomely, this was one of them!

Bro was a little reluctant but he managed to hold Kinsley's hand and take her around to some houses. Eventually Bro and Boaz left us behind and Uncle Tyrell took them running around to the rest of the houses.

Another fun decorated house.

 Best Buds!

Our cutie pie mouse. Someone thought she was a sheep and another an elephant haha.

It was fun having Kinsley a little older this year and able to get the whole trick or treating thing a little better. She had a good time with it.

His "Smile" cracks me up in this picture. I don't think he knew what to do with those fake teeth of his haha.

Had to get our yearly family trick or treating picture.

I liked Kinsley's smile in the picture, and Bro Bro eager to pass out the candy.

Bro's ghost and Kinsley's puppy. She has been obsessed with the show Beverly Hills Chihuahua, this was Ian's best Chihuahua...I thought it looked more like Yoda haha. He did forget the whiskers so maybe that would have helped.

Brody the scary candy passer outer. Once we got back everyone else went around the teacher housing (which was also pretty lame this year), but Brody wanted to stay home and pass out candy. I kept wondering why I was needing to fill up the candy so often, turns out he was giving two handfuls to each person!! At least he's a giver.

After Kinsley got back she wanted to help too.

Love this cheesy smile.

Can you guess what's on top of Kinsley's head....

Brody's apparently new pet snake!! Little stinker kept putting it on her head haha.

Afterwards they always poor out all their candy and check their stash out.

What a great Halloween we had, I just love spending the holiday with these cutie pie kids of mine!!

Ian's Birthday!

Ian's Birthday
Wednesday
October 29th, 2014

I love Birthdays, I love giving my family one day a year that is extra special to them. Ian and I don't usually do big gifts for each other but I always make a special dinner of whatever he requests and make his favorite cake. So I skipped mutual and we had a great time together celebrating Dad's birthday!!

Singing happy Birthday :)

The kids get just as excited about him opening his gifts as he does, so cute!

Happy Birthday Ian!!

Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Patch
Saturday
October 25th, 2014

There aren't many quote on quote normal things about where we live. Most of the memoires I have as a child don't really happen here. I try really hard to make sure they still get to experience some of the things I remember loving, one of which is going to a pumpkin patch. We had to drive 3 hours to get to one, but I think it was worth it!! Saturday morning we made a last minute trip all the way to Albuquerque NM, It's always fun going to a bigger city and feeling like were back in normal life especially when I get to do some shopping :)

Boaz and Kinsley enjoyed the little hay maze when we first got there, Brody thought he was too big for it haha sometimes he gets in those moods.

The tractor came and pick us up for the corn maze.

It ended up not really being a corn maze, but it was still lots of fun.

My handsome little cowboy! Nana sent this cowboy stuff to him and he's been loving it!

Kins thought his hat was pretty cool too.

These two are the best of friends, it's been so fun living next to each other.

After the maze we picked out our pumpkins.

Such a fun fun day at the pumpkin patch, so glad we made the 3 hour drive to it!

18 weeks

18 weeks

How far along? 18 weeks and 1 day

Total weight gain: 9 pounds 6 ounces.

Maternity clothes? Same as last week, pretty much just the belly band.

 Stretch marks? No new ones.

Sleep: I have been sleeping great. The only bad thing about my sleep so far is I can never seem to get enough of it!!

Best moment this week? It was homecoming week and Bro’s school got to dress up, to support the high school. He had SO much fun with it!! Also Ian and I went on a date tonight, the first one in a while. It was great to spend some time with my guy.

Miss anything? My energy, and sometimes my lack of patience partly due to my lack of energy. I have to admit I can be one of those crazy moody pregnant women.

Movement: YES!!! I felt the baby for sure move for the first time last Thursday. It’s still super light movements and I can only feel them when I sit down and relax. I love this part of pregnancy; my growing belly combined with the sweet little flutters makes everything seem much more real.

Food cravings: Orange Juice orange juice and orange juice. I’m honestly a little disappointed I don’t have more cravings, this is the time where I can ask for anything, blame it on the pregnancy and get it. So I’m hoping I get some more soon!

Food aversions: Slight aversion to ground beef, but even that is on and off.

Boy or girl: We won’t find out until November 11th, I wanted to wait until Ian had a day off work to be able to come.

Labor signs: No
Symptoms: Fatigue, and like I mentioned earlier an increased lack of patience when I’m super tired. I also feel very weak and light headed from time to time, I forgot to mention that one last week. It mostly happens in the morning or when I’ve been standing for too long.

Belly Button in or out? In.

Wedding ring on or off? Off, but only because of the irritation it gives my skin.

Looking forward to: I know this is still a month away, but I cannot wait until fall break. I’m going to love having Brody and Ian home for a full week!!

Fun facts: I wore this same exact outfit in one of my weekly updates while I was pregnant with Kinsley; I believe I was much further along and much bigger though. I honestly don’t think I’ll be able to wear my normal clothes this whole pregnancy like I have with my other two, I feel like I’m getting bigger a lot sooner with this one. I hope and pray that doesn’t mean this one will be even bigger then Kinsley, I don’t need to be carrying around an 11+ pound baby thank you very much!!

Cousin Fun

Cousin Fun
Friday
October 10th, 2014

Ian's youngest brother has 6 children, within that 6 are two sets on twins...crazy right!! We don't get to see them very often but when we do the kids always have a blast! They stopped and spent the night at our house on their way to Utah and lets just say the kids had LOTS of fun.

I love this picture of Kins "taking" a picture of them, too cute.

Bro loves the twin girls Lizzy and Gabby, they are 9 years old and super fun!

These boys are only 11 days younger then Brody. I am so glad Bro has cousins his age...cousins are the best!

Having lots of cousins makes for fun sleep overs!
