New Years Eve

New Years Eve
Wednesday
December 31st, 2014

We had a great new years eve, it was especially fun with all the cousins here! The kids started it off with playing outside, even though it was freezing cold.
Kinsley's been loving having some girls around for a change, and the girls have been loving her!

Boaz got a new riding jeep for Christmas, the kids were in heaven!

Nana and Grandpa gave Kins and Bro an awesome RV tent for Christmas, I swear the kids lived in it for at least half the time. Thank goodness for awesome Christmas presents to keep them busy!

We had a few people over for a small New Years Eve party to play some games and pig out on some snacks. While we were playing our games the kids had fun playing some card games of their own, Bro and Boaz especially love playing old maid. I cant believe I have a child old enough to play old maid without any help...!

This little girl is crazy, she has a mouth full and covered with Doritos and hot Cheetos...yes hot Cheetos. What 2 year old likes hot Cheetos!?

We let Brody and Kelli play one of the adult games too, they thought that was pretty cool! It was funny, cute and pretty dang impressive to see them strategize together.

I found this awesome idea on pinterest for the kids drinks. You fill a cup with cotton candy and slowly pour 7up over it, it was suppost to crystaliz the cotton candy into lots of little balls. We had a heck of a time finding the cotton candy, I was so excited for these awesome drinks! We got them all ready and as soon as I poured the 7up over it the cotton candy immediately dissolved...huge bummer, some tasted kind of weird too. Brody ended up liking his so I guess that's all that matters!

I can't believe 2014 has already come to an end, how on earth did that happen so quickly!? Lots of things happened for us this year, we spent our first full year here on the Rez, also making this the place we have lived together as a family the longest, we found out another little bundle of joy will be added to our family, Ian has worked one full year with two basically full time jobs and we SURVIVED...that's huge! Brody started Kindergarten and turned 6, Kinsley finally started talking more and turned 2...how on earth do we have kids this old already!? We were totally spoiled and got to take two awesome trips this summer, one to Disneyland and one to Hawaii and lots lots more. 2014 was good to us, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited for 2015...we can't wait to met our new little man cub and whatever else the year has in store for us :)

As a child one of the best things is spending time with cousins! Brody is lucky to have some awesome one's one Ian's side, tonight Kelly Gabby and Lizzy came to stay with us!

I am so glad we have this nice big sectional so all the kids could have a sleep over out in the front room, even Kins got to be apart of it. Brody was pretty dang excited, as you can tell :)

28 weeks

28 weeks
Sunday
December 28th, 2014

How far along? 28 weeks 3 day.

Total weight gain: 22 pounds.

Maternity clothes? I’m still able to get away with wearing my normal pants and most of my normal shirts with a few maternity, but I will need to get more maternity shirts before too long, mine are getting a little short. I will definitely be wearing more maternity clothes this time then my other pregnancies.

Stretch marks? I think I’m getting a couple new ones but I can’t tell for sure.

Sleep: Sleep has still been pretty good, thank goodness. Usually I am so tired that as soon as I lay down I am out.

Best moment this week? Christmas!! I couldn’t have asked for a better day with my sweet little family.

Miss anything? Energy as always, I have been lacking it majorly this whole pregnancy. I am also to the point know where I miss just being comfortable, comfortable in clothes and comfortable just walking around.

Movement: He still doesn’t move a ton, but when he does move boy does he move! He has a few different periods during the day where he is most active, mostly morning and late at night. I can tell that he is getting bigger because it is getting increasingly uncomfortable when he moves around. Even though I have been pregnant twice before I can’t imagine how he can possibly get bigger and still be able to move without it totally hurting me!

Food cravings: Still nothing, so disappointing.

Food aversions: Nothing. The whole food department is pretty boring around here.

Boy or girl:Boy J

Labor signs: No
Symptoms: I would say my symptoms are pretty much the same as my last update. Fatigue, stuffy nose, horrific back aches in the morning, insanely unstable hormones, and the beginning signs of heartburn.

Belly Button in or out? More out then in, but not completely out yet.

Wedding ring on or off? Off.

Looking forward to: Enjoying the rest of our Christmas break together.

Fun facts: Well I am getting my belly measured now at my doctors appointments, and the second he puts that little machine on my stomach to find the heartbeat we hear it. It’s kind of fun to know that I’m getting further along. I don’t know if it’s just because it’s late and I can’t think as well but I really can’t come up with any other fun facts. Oh I did get my hair cut, quite a few inches. I was a little freaked out at first but now it feels so fresh and a lot healthier!

Christmas Best

Christmas Best
Thursday
December 25th, 2014

Christmas evening we had a baptism to go to, so I got Kinsley all dolled up in a new dress from Nana and we headed out. It was snowing and so beautiful I just had to take some pictures of this little princess. I would have loved Bro to be in them too but he was still in his pajamas (crazy, I know!) and busy playing with Boaz.

What a wonderful white Christmas.

The picture above is one of her natural smiles, the picture below is the smile I get every time I ask her to smile...little cheeser.

Merry Christmas to everyone, from my little Kinsley Mae :)

Christmas morning

Christmas Morning!!
Thursday
December 25th, 2014

Each year we wonder if the kids will wake us up early or not, and so far we have been very very lucky. It was about 9:00 and we heard Brody's little voice whispering over the baby monitor if he could come out...seriously cute!

Bro was way excited, Kinsley on the other hand had to be woken up and wasn't too sure about what was going on.

Checking out their stash from Santa.

Daddy got a tablet!!! Well we all did, but Santa left it by his stuff. I think Ian was more excited about it then any of us!

Reading the letter Santa left us.

And the present opening begins :)
The kids could get crayons and paper and be happy, seriously. They love to color.

Kinsley is wildly obsessed with puppies, so of course we had to get her one.

Kinsley loves her new car from Nana and Papa!

Bro is totally into Minecraft right now, he asked for just about everything minecraft imaginable for Christmas. He was pretty happy when he started opening all the gifts from Nana and Grandpa.

Kin's got a dress up set from Uncle Tyrell and Aunt Becca, perfect for this girly girl.

We drew names with the four of us this year and did a gift exchange. Daddy got Kinsley and got her this little puppy.

I love how every time Ian opened a present the kids gathered around...and aren't Kinsley's high heals adorable! She's had practice walking around in mine so she can actually handle them.

Bro wanted a flying helicopter really bad, I think he's pretty happy with it!

He also really wanted a Minecraft sword, I'd say he had a great Christmas this year!

Kinsley loving on her puppy...she seriously loves puppies!!

Bro drew Ian and I a picture for Christmas, It was too cute. It's honestly the homemade gifts from the kids that mean the most!

I got Ian a saw this year, he loves getting new tools...I had no idea it would be so big!

Nana and Papa got the kids an RV tent, the love it and wanted to put it up right away!

Brody already busted out his present and made this sand bottle, he loves doing crafty things.

Kinsley loved playing with her Barbie's, she loves babies dolls and Barbie's!

She also love's her doll house, It's so fun seeing her play now that she's old enough to.

I have to explain this picture. Whenever Kinsley is hiding from someone, which she does quiet often might I add, she either closes her eyes or most of the time covers them with her hands. She genuinely thinks if she can't see you you can't see her, It is the funniest thing!! After a little bit she will slightly spread her fingers and peak through, if you can catch a glimpse of her eye then she knows you've seen her!

Another great Christmas with this cute little family of mine!! I am so incredibly thankful for each one of them and the joy and happiness they bring into my life. I am one very lucky and very blessed girl :)
