Vacation - Beach Day!!

Vacation - Beach Day!!
Tuesday
July 2nd, 2013

At the hotel getting ready to go. I love when Brody loves on his little sister, I am so glad they have a good relationship! You can just see the love he has for her.

I told Brody to keep an eye on her while she was on the bed, to not let her fall off...this was his solution haha!

We were originally planning on going to Disneyland today, but Ian's brother was having car problems and couldn't make it till tonight so we decided to make a beach day out of it! Ian doesn't care too much for the beach but Brody and I LOVE it, seriously if I could spend my life at the beach it would be a good one :). I swear I will make Ian into a beach lover if its the last thing I do. He's a sweetheart and will do anything to make me happy so to the beach he went. It was a gloomy day, parked at the beach our car said it was only 68 degree...yickys...so not what I was expecting. It felt more like the Oregon coast then Huntington Beach, but we loved it none the less!

Ready to hit the beach for the first time!

I was so excited to bring Kinsley for the first time. I knew since she was so young it could go really badly so I tried not to get my hopes up too much. She didn't fall in love with it, but she didn't hate it either, she just kind of managed. The sand was a little freaky to her at first, she would put it in her mouth but couldn't get it back out again.

Bro eating on of his absolute favorite lunches, lunchable pizza! Love these two crazy.

Still trying to figure the sand out. Thank goodness for this chair!

Ian and Brody had a great time in the water. Ian is such a fun Dad! He always gets Brody to do something fun with him. Brody is still a little parcial to me, he loves his Dad but is still a mama's boy. Ian never lets that stop him, he always tries to have time with Brody and do fun things, Brody really is so lucky to have him for his Dad.

Love those baby toes!

It was so fun watching the boys out in the ocean. The water was cold and the weather wasn't too warm either but they didn't let it stop them!

Trying to get this little girl to love the beach.

Brody LOVES building sand castles, he could sit on the beach all day making them and be happy. In fact that's the only thing he said he wanted to do on the beach. I have so many memories of building sand castles when I was younger so its fun to watch Brody love doing it as well.

We thought we would give Kinsley and the ocean a try...

Getting a little deeper...

And here's her first experience!! She went in with a bang!

As you can see, she didn't love it...by any means.

Giving the wet sand a try...

As you can see she didn't love that either....

After a few minutes I saved her!

Ian said he thought the noise of the waves freaked her out, which was probably part of it. I don't blame her, that would be kind of scary for a baby!

Of course we couldn't go to the beach without burying somebody.

Brody willingly volunteered :)
 Later he buried me too!

He liked it so much that he flipped over and started again!

(Phone picture, not as good but still super cute!)

Sand fight!!!

This little boy had such a great time.

One of my favorite beach pictures of this monkey man!

We told Brody to go rinse off...this was his version of rinsing off. We thought it was pretty cute. He would wait till the waves came in but still be in as shallow of water as he could and kind of fall into it.

After laughing over his cuteness Daddy went and helped.

Brody definitely got rinsed off this way haha

Just a couple girls and their toes in the sand...what more could you want :)

Brody got buried again only this time sister got to enjoy it too!

Cutest beach baby ever!

And we made some more sand castles :)

Then it got really cold so we decided to say good bye to the beach. Brody had to get rinsed off again only this was it wasn't so enjoyable. Seriously reminded me of the Oregon Coast.

Ian's cousin lives close by so we went to her house showered and changed and then went down to the farmers market. It was so much fun! It was right next to the beach and had such a fun lively feel to it. So glad we went.

We paid a ridiculous amount for Bro to jump on these, but he had a good time!

Love this funny man.

Brody loved being there!! He thought it was the coolest place. He especially loved the live music! There were a few different ones, these guys were so good Brody just stopped and listened to the whole song.

After we went through the market and tried some funny food samples (and bought a super cute cheap top), we took a walk on the pier.

Brody of course thought these lights were pretty awesome.

Bro was getting tired and it was getting late so he put them both in the stroller, he is so good to his little sister and takes such good care of her!

Just lovin on the baby :)

We all had such a great day!! Vacations are so much fun, especially when you get to spend it with your family!
