Vacation Time

Vacation Time!!!

Ian and I had been planning a vacation with his Brothers family to California for a few months now but didn't tell Brody where we were going. It was so fun keeping it a surprise, although we are way lucky he is young because we slipped it more then a few times and had to cover our tracks!! So we packed an insane amount of things into our car (since we will be gone almost the entire month) and started the 6 hour drive to Cali. We are still currently on vacation so I'll do short post as I find the time. Here's day one...

 

Miss Kinsley is about the cutest baby girl you will ever met, she's also pretty awesome at spoiling her family with good car rides. Most of the time she doesn't even make a peep, really only when she's chatting with Brody or its time to eat. Thanks goodness for a good traveler!

Brody also rocks when it comes to car rides! We seriously couldn't ask for better travelers. I brought a whole backpack full of things for him to do and he didn't even touch it. He had one book he looked through and just relaxed the rest of the time. Here he is rolling his eyes at mommy's picture obsession. Better get used to it boy :P

 

Like I mentioned earlier we hadn't told Brody where we were going yet. When we were getting closer to our hotel I talked to him about it, asking him where he thought we were going/wanting to go. He told me he ONLY wanted to go to the beach. That's my boy!! Once we got a little closer I brought out the video camera and we told him to look around, there were mickey mouse banners everywhere along the street and we told him we were going to DISNEYLAND!! He was excited :) We also told him we were going to the beach, he was of course also excited about that.

 

Once we got to the hotel he was beyond thrilled to be there. We had told him what town we were going to and he kept telling us how much he loved Anaheim, it was pretty cute.

 

So excited to be on vacation!!

 

 

Ian spoiled us with a yummy Mexican dinner :) Mexican food has always been a favorite of mine, and this one is worth going to again! We all shared some chicken enchiladas and tamales...Yummy!!

 

 

Kinsley loved watching some Spanish TV :P

Seriously love this little girl...look at those cute baby hands!

 



 

Trying to get a picture with my monkey. He does this weird girly thing with his hands because he knows I hate it and he thinks its so funny! Such a stinker.

 

 

 

 

He of course wanted to use the hotels pool. He especially loved the hot tub, which really was more like a warm tub.

Ian and Bro had a blast in the big pool as well, they did "tricks" and all kinds of fun stuff. I love seeing my two boys have fun!
