Brody's "Fort"

I hate to admit it, but we still have a lot of boxes around here. None of them are really huge ones, but Brody found one of the big ones and let his imagination run wild. I love how much he has been using his imagination lately, its so fun to see the things he can come up with. For the past couple days he has been getting inside it and using it as his fort, so today I decided to actually make one for him. Its nothing pretty but he thinks its pretty cool!! We cut out windows and a door and taped up the top flaps to make it tall enough for him. He even drew on some sides to decorate it. He played in this thing for hours today! He has 3 little bubble blowing wand things, all of them different shapes, and he decided to use them as keys for the skinny flap next to the door. Each of them would make the fort something different, one key was for his house, one for school and the other for work. He begged me to let him sleep in it tonight. At first I said no because its way to small to sleep in but then i figure what would it hurt to let him have more fun with it! His legs were completely hanging out but he didn't care one bit.

 

 

 

He of course had to bring his dream lite in, there was no extra room in there so it stayed on his lap all night :)
