Evening in Phoenix

Evening in Phoenix
Friday
March 29th, 2013

Brody was supposed to have his first Tball practise tonight but his coach ended up catching the flu so it was canceled. It worked out great for us because we had wanted to go see the Easter pageant at the Phoenix temple and weren't able to make it last night. So we jumped in the car and headed to Phoenix for the evening.

First we went to Peter Piper Pizza for dinner, its kind of like a chucky cheese. Brody of course loved it and had a blast!! We didn't have a lot of time before the pageant started but he was able to use up all his tokens and have a great time.

Bro and Ian had fun playing this till the pizza was ready :)

This was Brody's FAVORITE game! He did it twice and loved it both times. It was like a roller coaster ride and the chairs shacked and moved around with the movie thing.

You wouldn't know it by the serious look on his face but he did love it. He talked about it the whole way to the temple!

Of course he had to play a gun game, hes all boy that's for sure!

After dinner we headed over to the temple. We were an hour early and still barley got a seat. We had to park forever away and once we got there I thought we would never find a seat. We walked down a little and asked some people if a few seats were saved. They were but the people weren't coming after all so they let us have them. We got super lucky!! They said it took them waiting 2 hours to get the seats, and they weren't even that close! It was a very popular place to be. No one was taking pictures with flashes, I have a feeling they asked us not to, so this was the best I could get. This picture was taken at the very end. It was so worth going to, I would love to go again sometime.

I had never been to the Arizona temple before so afterwards we walked around it. It, just like the St George temple, does not have angel Moroni on it. I guess its one of a few that doesn't. It is a beautiful temple though with gorgeous grounds.

This tree was so cool! I have never seen on like it before. The picture doesn't do it justice but its pretty dang cool.

Checking out the fun citrus tree.

This was Kinsley's first trip to see a temple. And yes we lost a sock!

We had such a great time together, I'm so glad we were able to make it to see the pageant.

Just a side not, Kinsley loves to suck her bottom lip in like this haha.
