Family Story Time

Brody has always had a love for reading, I have tried to encourage it throughout the years by reading to him as much as possible. I started reading to him at night at a very young age, probably before he even realized what was going on. This has always been one of our favorite parts of the day. If he is being naughty all we have to do is threaten to not read a book that night and he snaps right out of it. On the rare occasions that doesn't work he usually cries his eyes out over not reading a book! Lets face it, life can get pretty hectic around here! Ian doesn't get home from work till after 7, we have dinner together and by 8 we are getting Brody ready for bed. So these moments when we are all sitting together every night before bed are very special and dear to me, moments to be cherished. I just love that Kinsley is getting interested in the pictures and looks along with us :) I hope that we always keep this tradition of reading together as a family, at least while the kids are young.
