Over the years I have made lists of Brody's favorite things at different stages in his life. Since he just turned 4 I thought it was a good time to do another one. These came straight from the mouth of Brody himself :)

 

1. Saying thank you when people give him something

 

2. Playing with toys

 

3. When we drop him off at Grandma's house

 

4. Looking at the maps in mamas scriptures

 

5. Digging for warms

 

6. Star Wars!!! Watching the movies and playing star wars.

 

7. Light Sabers

 

8. GUNS!!

 

9. getting himself dressed in the morning (and sometimes multiple times throughout the day).

 

10. Feeding his fish Bob Bob.

 

11. After we say family prayer in the living room Brody LOVES jumping on Daddy's back and riding him into his room. He usually grabs a gun first too so he can be a good cowboy and be ready for bad guys.

 

12. Ice cream with chocolate syrup and sprinkles. And he has to do it himself!

 

13. Playing with his cousins; Quinn, Tyson and Liliana.

 

14. Water painting and coloring.

 

15. Making "recipes" for mom and Dad to cook with.

 

16. Picking up his room (Yes he actually said this himself!)

 

17. Playing with Treyven (the little boy I babysit, hes about 1).

 

18. Going to the park.

 

19. Helping Mama cook. He always has to be involved in whatever I'm cooking, he is my little helper!

 

20. Going swimming, especially at his friend Cooper and Hudson's house. We go over there every Friday with our other friends for a little swim get together. All the kids have a blast!

 

21. Camping. He asks us all the time when we can go camping next.

 

22. Water balloons. He LOVES water balloons. This was his one request for his things to do at his party.

 

23. What he calls "Halloween candy". He loves the candy corn mix that has the regular candy corn, the chocolate and the pumpkins. But the pumpkins are always the first to go (he gets that from me).

 

24. Popcorn. This is one of his all time favorite snacks.

 

25. Making sand castles. He doesn't get to do this very often but when he does he absolutely loves it! Last time we camped on the beach he wanted to just sit in the sand making castles all day. It was so hot though we had to take breaks to get in the lake.

 

26. Wrestling with Daddy. They have so much fun when they do this!

 

27. Cuddling with Mommy and Daddy in their bed. Almost every morning we can count on Brody coming into our room and cuddling with us. We don't mind because hes very good about sleeping in his bed all night, he just comes and snuggles with us for a little bit before he wants to watch cartoons.

 

28. Gum balls! We have a huge jug of them for him. We used them for potty training with him and still have a ton.

 

29. He says his favorite dinners are Daddy's Chicken and rice as well as bisque's and gravy. Hes really good about eating now though, he eats every single dinner either of us makes.

 

30. Making "drinks" and "potions" in his bubble baths with every single container he can find.

 

31. Making a fort out of his new bunk bed. He loves doing this! He thinks its so cool, I will put a laptop with a movie on it in there for him and he plays with his toys, he just has a blast.
