Festival & Pumpkin Patch

 Taste of Dixie Festival
&
Pumpkin Patch
Saturday
October 13th, 2012

Turns out all those free (fun!) things for the kids we went to yesterday were for the Taste of Dixie festival. And even better it was going on today too, and EVEN better Daddy only worked till about 3!! So we all headed down to have another fun day at the park.

Brody kept calling it the fair, he was so excited to go to the fair again. And the first thing he wanted to do was ride the "merry go round" as he calls it.

Ariel and Jacob joined us for a little bit, it was Jacob's first time on the carousel :)

The next thing he wanted to do was the obstacle course!! He was way excited to show Daddy how awesome he was at going through it. He had a blast of course.

Being a goof ball show off and sliding down the sides instead of the actual slide. I think he liked just messing around in it more then he was worried about how fast he could get it done.

And of course he had to show Daddy the awesome slide!

Yesterday he didn't go inside the bouncy house so he thought he would give it a try today. I think he was glad, he seemed to enjoy it quiet a bit!

We tried to tell him to bounce off the sides, but instead he always just jumped face first right into them haha silly boy.

We ran into our friends the Judd's while we were there. Brody and Kaleb wanted to go through the obstacle course together.

Being silly again and having a blast!

Josh had a booth for his business. I thought it this was so cute, the boys acting all serious and businesslike.

 The Pumpkin Patch

Brody kept seeing pumpkins in the grocery stores and of course wanted to get one. But I really wanted to bring him to a pumpkin patch, I mean come on..its way more fun that way! So after the Taste of Dixie festival we headed to Staheli farm to get some pumpkins.

Our handsome little boy was so excited! He thought it was the coolest place.

Bro thought he found a pretty good pumpkin, until he turned it and found all the weird bugs. He thought the bugs were pretty cool but I suggested we just find another one!

One of Brody's awesome finds :)

 Hunting for more with Daddy.

We were determined to find just the right one.

This whole bending over thing is a lot harder then it looks when your pregnant!

Brody is always so much fun to be around!

Showing off one last find!

I completely spaced getting a picture of all three of us with our pumpkins until after we left. But here's two of them!

Checking out the weird witch clothes.

We all had such a great time at both the festival and the pumpkin patch! We were so glad Dad had most of the day off so we could have some great Family time. I love building memories like these and I especially love seeing my little man so happy! Now Brody cant wait to carve the pumpkins!!
